Raised by his single father, a swinging paramedic who rose to local fame after being caught giving the mayor’s wife an injection in the back of his rig, Rich had a seemly bright future in front of him. Then, at the tender, pubescent age of fifteen, Rich walked in on his dad, in the bathtub performing autoerotic asphyxiation with a rubber hose to the blaring voice of Jim Morrison. It was too late, he had broken on through to the other side.
Rich would fail at his attempt to perform CPR on his oily naked father. This event left Rich with a dream to follow in his father’s soggy footsteps of becoming a paramedic, but it also created a fear rubber hoses and any tub larger than a kiddy pool.
